Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jocelyn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Jocelyn abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: She wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She tends to wear a white poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is mildly Half-Orc supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Dwarven compassion; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is her passion
