Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his flail with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and is pretty ugly. His red hair is cut short. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears a robe, a symbol of death around her neck, and a longbow on her belt. Her auburn hair is singed and shortened. Her green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is wracked by social anxiety
