Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Animal Trainer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: This man stands a little under 3'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears suspenders and blue workpants. His shirt is pastel, and he wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time. His silver hair is thinning but still full. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kipper does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Mercenary business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand his business

Description: She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her long chestnut hair reaches down to her waist. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she has money and likes to spend it
