History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Hadarai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spice Merchant. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break
