History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. He bought a longbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Dilettante, his father struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle
