History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. During his travels, Gennal and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gennal discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gennal fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
