However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Through the years after Uthemar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Uthemar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
