Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born in a small forest village. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was born in the west. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Raer was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
