Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a sword on his belt. His blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Raer hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raer was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult
