History: Erdan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Crown-heir father left him crippled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Quarion is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Quarion was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
