His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He takes great joy in being the best Performer in town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the west to a Stableman, Naeris learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Naeris alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
