Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born in the west to a Sellsword, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He tends to his Sellsword job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
