History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Raer was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Raer's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Suhnae lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
