History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gennal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.
