He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Raer and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sculptor responsibilities is difficult.
