History: Caeldrim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
