His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Arannis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Description: He is wearing a long, pastel cloak. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
