After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Crown-heir who has hired him part-time. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ahvain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Ahvain reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Weaver. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
