History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Paelias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Paelias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
