History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. A true patriot, Uthemar would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Uthemar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
