History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Paelias was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Paelias's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born to a Mortician, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He takes great joy in being the best Marshal in town.

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. A freak accident while working with his Roofer father left him crippled. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
