History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. During his travels, Rael and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rael discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rael fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Thervan was born the youngest of three triplets. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bellfounder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bellfounder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
