History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Rolen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
