He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Now he works as a dancing tutor during his time off.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.
