History: Mindartis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Mindartis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born to a Bricklayer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
