History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He's also a talented Soapmaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
