History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Arannis was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Scribe. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Beiro was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Beiro's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
