Description: An older man who wears a worn and beaten armor, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his white hair up. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Sage. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Vanuath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Description: This northern man prefers to wear flannel. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His green eyes peer out from beneath his broad brown hat.
Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: Naal was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Apothecary for hire.
