History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Uthemar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Uthemar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
