Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'11" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He prefers to wear yellow clothing when he does not wear armor. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Theren wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Theren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Marshal. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
