He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Korfel hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
