Description: An older man who typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor, he is not a threatening figure. He has brown hair. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Peren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: An older man who wears a fancy black suit, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair is thinning but still full. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: Naill is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Eiravel hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
