Description: This late middle aged man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during and is in decent physical shape. His hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a great chef.
History: Varis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This man stands a little under 4'11" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a yellow coat over a white low-cut shirt, and a small hat upon his head. He has wavy brown hair. He is baby faced.
Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. A true patriot, Lucan would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He has worked as a Miner like his mother before him.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult; and he is greedy
