History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. A freak accident while working with his Dilettante mother left him crippled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he is unsatisfied with his job
