Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in the west to a Bather, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He tends to his Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
