Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Marshal born in the past three hundred years. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Paelias lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Aelar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born in the north. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
