He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: This man stands a little under 4'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Adran was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a green coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
