Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His white hair is cut short. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his broad tan hat.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. During his travels, Galinndan and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Galinndan discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Galinndan fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Varis was born with his mother's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
