Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears dull grey sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed halberd, just in case. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his feathered grey hat.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Varis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Mindartis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He became a Fortune-teller soon after.
