History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Banker. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the west to a Ruler, Aelar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
