Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Raer was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Miller. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands.
