Personality: Varis hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His first spouse was a Courier, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Shipwright father left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: Naal was born with his father's beautiful face. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
