History: The child of a Beggar, who enjoyed hunting, Thervan was taken on many hunting expeditions. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Varis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and revenge
