History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Traki never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
