Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Heian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He found a children's book about a Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
