History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Heian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gifted student he started as a Sculptor, but he got bored and became a Guard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
