Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tharivol alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
