History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion
