History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Laucian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Laucian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nim studied abroad. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
