History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Halimath was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Crown-heir. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and a deep hatred of illithids
